Personal loans through Axo Finans
Axo is a fintech company working as a digital broker for personal lending and consumer loans (forbrukslån). Our task is to help the customer with filling out and sending the loan application to several banks. This is important because interest rates vary from bank to bank. As soon as all the banks have assessed the loan application, we contact you and present the best offer.
The interest rate offered is individual and is first presented together with the loan offer. Because the interest rate can vary, it's important to let all the banks process the application before we present an offer.
As a financial agent, we can only charge commission from the banks we work with. The banks don't have the opportunity to offer a higher interest rate through our service. In order for us to stay on top and always be able to bring you the best offer, it is important that we work with the best banks and lenders in the industry. This way, our customers save both time and money.
Our business is regulated by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet), which means that we have clear agreements with all the banks and lenders we cooperate with. There are also requirements that all loan offers must meet in accordance with Finanstilsynet's guidelines for good lending practices.
Basic requirements for applying for a loan
To apply for a loan you must be over 23 years old, have lived in Norway for three years or more, and not be registered with any payment/collection remarks.
The loan offer will be sent by mail or you will receive a link by e-mail where you can download the loan agreement electronically. The bank that has granted the loan will ask for your paycheck and tax record/tax return (skattemelding).
In addition, you must present your identification papers or perform identification electronically through BankID. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the process.
Can I consolidate my credit card debt?
Yes. If you have credit card debt you will save money by consolidating through a personal loan (refinansiering). The interest rates are lower and you will get a more structured down payment on your debt. Please make sure to enter all your debt in the online application form.
